Age of Inflation Super Package

Buying Gold and Silver online

This manual had its origins in 1994, when we taught a personal finance course for non-business majors at Grove City College. We thought it would be fun to develop the course material ourselves.

There were 39 classes, and while some topics were too broad to cover in one class, we came up with 35 topics for discussion. At the time, inflation was barely mentioned, although in retrospect, if we look at what has happened to the dollar since the Federal Reserve came into existence in 1913, we can see that inflation has been virtually ever present, having a huge impact on the dollar’s buying power over the long-term.

In the late 1970s, inflation was significant. During the 1990s, it seemed a relatively benign growth. More recently, inflation has begun to rear its head again. With this in mind, we decided to revise our manual and simultaneously pare it down to twenty chapters to help readers cope with these inflationary times. It is our sincere desire to help our readers understand inflationary dangers, and how to protect themselves from inflation's insidious, long-term effects on the currency, the economy, and their lives.
